Alif's work is inspired and influenced by the vibrant colors, designs, and motifs of her ethnic traditions. All her designs, however, are original and are hand-drawn, making each piece unique. Underglazes are applied over the raw bisque, then a clear glaze is applied after each piece is fired. The glazes are all nontoxic and food safe
